Recently I have been looking into small shop purchases rather than large corporations. I am an extremely detailed oriented person who enjoys not only the amazing customer service small shops give, but that extreme great details small shop products produce.
I am moving back home shortly and have been looking into product and room designs through great inspirations on instagram and pinterest, I have become inlove with simple, rustic, contemporary and classic designs. I am just starting this design journey so if there are any small shops you are inlove with, please comment or email email!!
This is just part one of this design journey that you and i will both be particpating in! This week I have an amazing product that i recently purchased from Needle and Pine, a local Calgary company that produces amazing mountain shelves and decor.
This is my new art piece to my wall, i cant wait to hang this up in my new room! Please share your design tips and tricks that i can apply to my new room design 🙂
I have traveled lots in the last two months from Brooks to Lethbridge and now Edmonton. I currently am in the market for a new vehicle, so my main form of transportation is the Greyhound bus. Though I haven’t had this best experience using this form of transportation I have acquired some important travel essentials.
The first traveling essential is the most important, a large duffle or messenger bag that is easy to carry and pack. This bag was given to me as a gift, it is a black large duffle bag from Pink. I love all aspects of this bag from the little pockets inside, to the colour and versatility.
Another great travel essential is a blanket scarf, these scarfs are great for these cold Canadian winters. I where mine as a scarf tell I get on the bus than while taking off my jacket i unravel my blanket scarf into a blanket. The Aritzia ones are gorgeous but there are plenty cheaper alternatives, mine in this photo was from a second-hand store in Invermere, British Colombia.
When traveling with a third party company sometimes your luggage can go missing. I travelers advice is to put any jewelry, electronics, and anything important and valuable into your carry on. I like to bring on my Aldo brown messenger bag or my Roxy backpack onto the bus with all of my valuables.
If you guys are interested in a “what’s in my travel bag” blog, lemme know:) Show me all your “must have” travel essentials, with the #travelwithbre. ALSO I have some exciting news coming soon, watch out for big announcements on my Instagram, @beauandremi.
Thank you for so much all your support, its been very humbling!
Many of you may might not know but I have one brother, he is 22 and lives in Edmonton. He is not a fan of Calgary and the overwhelming amount of love he receives when he is here. He is overwhelmed with loads of stories my mom and I tell him and the many questions he is asked and photos taken.
When he comes home we love to take our fur brothers (2 rescue border collies) out for a walk in the country. I love those two fur brothers just as much, or more than my human brother;)
Milo is our black and white collie who is 6-year-old. He loves to play with his brother and loves cuddles. He is the sweetest boy and loves people. Unlike his brother Shamus, who is 11 years old and couldn’t care less about playing or cuddles. He loves his bed and long walks. We were afraid he was going deaf because when I would yell his name he just continued to walk without a flitch or care in the world, though I have a feeling he may be ignoring us instead.
I love having all my brothers in the same house, though it gets very hectic and there is lots of yelling and barking. I wouldn’t have it any other way, go and hug your siblings and make some memories, even if it bugs them 😉
